Last Friday was not just any Friday night in Silicon Valley, it was KGO 810 AM's Girls Night Out event. Savvy Skirts was super excited to be a part of the very 1st year for this event held at the Santa Clara Convention Center on October 23, 2009. Savvy Skirts had a fun time chatting with all the KGO girls and meeting all sorts of fun & fabulous new women. We had a booth next to The Frugal Foodie Cookbook author, Lara Morris Starr. Wonderful (and healthy) spa treatments you can do at home. We look forward to seeing her again at Savvy Skirts!

Part of our own Savvy Skirts team, Nancy Korbet, assisted radio host Rosie Allen with her wardrobe. Nancy’s class taught Rosie and the audience how to figure out your style, how to shop for that and how to purge the black hole of your closet. I love the idea of getting rid of the black hole in the wardrobe. Whenever I get courageous and actually throw out things I haven't worn in literally years, I never actually miss them! So why all the anxiety? It's got to be a girl thing.
